Elite 3E Analyst Programmer - The successful applicant will execute, improve 3E applications and modules within Elite 3E system while maintaining key support to the existing software and platform. The post-holder will take a key role in providing a best-in-class software development and support service.

This role would allow an experienced individual with commercial software development experience as a Finance Systems developer, technical lead or a similar web based system to Elite 3E to cross skill in to this role and become an expert in all Financial Systems applications such as Elite 3E, Intapp Time, Chrome River Expense and other Firm Practice applications.

This is a full time, permanent position, based in Glasgow with hybrid working.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Act as a technical lead for the Elite 3E system and go to person
  • Provide technical support to in-house developed applications, integrations and the Elite 3E product
  • Lead software development work-streams providing end to end ownership including; specification and design, estimation and planning, build, release and support
  • Work with the Elite consultants in developing and deploying new solutions, modules, and features and liaising with members of the development team, business analysts and technical architects.
  • Creation of technical and functional documents for ongoing maintenance items and projects.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of web based software architecture and design
  • Microsoft SQL scripting and Server
  • Experience using Microsoft tools and programming languages such as.NET framework (Primarily VB.NET) and XML related technologies including XSLT and XPath
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of customers
  • Previous experience working with financial systems such as Elite 3E or similar
