About the Role

Working as part of Verdantix’s research team, the Analyst will undertake strategic research focused on real estate and the built environment, including how organizations are using technology, data, software and services to improve selection and investing in real estate, designing and constructing buildings and interior spaces, improving building performance, occupant experience, sustainability outcomes and operational efficiency. The role will explore topics at the intersection of commercial real estate, smart buildings, design and construction, facilities management, workplace transformation, decarbonization and climate resilience.

Success in the role requires curiosity about how technology can improve business outcomes in the built environment, experience producing high-quality written deliverables, and the ability to contribute to client-facing engagements. The successful candidate will have the ambition to undertake a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research in collaboration with other analysts. Our analysts benefit from our structured ‘Analyst Training Framework’ which offers 24-months of tailored learning to equip high performers to progress to more senior analyst positions at Verdantix.

Salary opportunity is £34K - £36K depending on experience level, plus a very competitive quarterly bonus scheme.

This is a hybrid role which requires 3 days a week in the office during probationary period, and will decrease to 2 days upon successful completion.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conducting research and creating original reports and presentations on real estate, smart buildings, design and construction, workplace technology, building decarbonization or built environment software and services using established Verdantix methodologies.
  • Undertaking research interviews with real estate leaders, building executives, sustainability teams, workplace leaders, technology vendors and service providers.
  • Building quantitative models to size and forecast real estate, built environment, software and services markets.
  • Supporting advisory and consulting projects on topics such as smart buildings, workplace transformation, construction, property technology, sustainability, energy management and climate resilience.
  • Providing input to, and managing outputs from, large language models in support of research workflows and digital products.
  • Supporting client workshops and consulting projects while developing trusted relationships with Verdantix clients and senior industry decision makers.
  • Attending industry events to help raise the profile of Verdantix in the real estate and built environment market.
  • Managing and publishing external newsletters or insight updates on relevant built environment themes, where required whilst also supporting marketing efforts by writing blogs and engaging in social media activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
