Analyst – Retail Annuities

Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits

Miryco Consultants is working with a highly respected financial services organisation as they continue to expand their Retail Annuities business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team at the early stages of a significant business launch, offering exceptional exposure across multiple functions and stakeholders.

This role is ideal for an analytical, organised, and commercially minded individual who enjoys variety and wants to develop a broad understanding of how a major financial services business brings products to market.

The Opportunity

You'll become a key member of the Retail Annuities team, providing day-to-day support across a wide range of business activities. Working closely with Product Managers, Distribution Directors, Pricing Actuaries, and Operations teams, you'll help coordinate projects, manage information, produce analysis, and ensure initiatives continue to move forward. No two days will be the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within the insurance and retirement market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and launch of new retail annuity products.
  • Work closely with Product Managers on market analysis, product documentation, and project coordination.
  • Assist Distribution Directors with reporting, presentations, and sales support activities.
  • Liaise with Pricing Actuaries to coordinate data requests, documentation, and governance activities.
  • Support Operations teams to help ensure product launches and business initiatives are delivered successfully.
  • Prepare management information, reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, actions, and project plans across multiple workstreams.
  • Analyse business data to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
  • Provide general analytical and administrative support to a growing, high-performing team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within Financial Services, ideally Insurance or Pensions.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident working with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and get involved wherever required.
  • Degree educated or equivalent experience would be advantageous.
