Responsibilities

As an Analyst / Senior Analyst - Fund Management with Hines, you will support the team across a wide range of fund management responsibilities.

Hines Europe is looking to hire an Analyst / Senior Analyst into the Investment Management team, primarily to work on the Hines European Real Estate Partners Series. This is Hines’ flagship discretionary value-add vehicle in Europe currently investing HEREP IV which held first close in July 2026 with equity commitments of over €500M. HEREP III, the previous vintage in the series, raised €1.6BN. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a collegiate flagship real estate private equity fund team, at the centre of the firm’s strategic focus. The role is based in London, reporting directly to the senior Fund leadership team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Title will depend on candidate’s experience and qualifications

  • Working on acquisitions across geographies / asset sectors / profiles - including direct real estate, platform level and M&A. This Fund Series has a pan-European mandate.
  • Supporting the formulation and implementation of the Fund Series investment strategies on an ongoing basis, using data analytics and collaborating with Hines Research.
  • Ownership of asset management workstreams for the Fund Series’ existing investments, working closely with all stakeholders (including country team) to execute business plans, identify and implement value enhancing strategies.
  • Being responsible for updating models, data/performance analysis (e.g. liquidity analysis) and to help deliver investor reporting.
  • Liaising with the broader Fund team, capital markets group and others across the business to support and promote the Funds to our institutional investors.
  • Preparing presentation materials for current/prospective investors, such as the marketing book and half-yearly investor meeting collateral.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

  • One or more years’ Investment Banking or Investment experience. Strong interest in real estate required, with some experience in the sector desirable but not necessary.
  • Strong university degree from high-calibre institution, preferably in a subject area demanding high analytical aptitude.
  • Highly numerate with demonstrable aptitude to build and manipulate financial models. Familiarity with modelling operating companies would also be desirable.
  • Creative flair, with ability to distill and present complex ideas effectively in both written and graphical form in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills with confident fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to relate well to other people at all levels, internally and externally. Culturally sensitive. Display passion and energy, creating a positive working environment.
  • Pro-active, self-motivated and adept at using own initiative to be most effective.
  • Exceptional confidence, independence and interest in working in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Attention to and care for detail in all work.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work quickly to a high standard under pressure.
  • Positive energy and contribution to team spirit.
  • Ambition and desire to build personal skillset and value in the role. High willingness to learn, with support from a collegiate team.
