Job Opportunity:
The Transactional Liability team provides insurance in connection with Mergers & Acquisitions and other transactions, including Warranty and Indemnity Insurance and Tax Insurance. In this role, the Analyst will collaborate with our Transactional Liability team to execute Warranty and Indemnity Insurance policies across a wide range of industry sectors and deal values.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review transaction materials to understand target company risk profiles and support underwriters with the research and analysis of company data.
- Preparation of underwriting authorities, quotes, and policy documents for the insurance of M&A deals.
- Ensuring that deals move forward efficiently and in accordance with deadlines, through coordination with insurance brokers and lawyers.
- Maintain awareness of the competitive environment in, and the unique risk profile of, the product line.
- Be an active market participant by establishing, developing, and expanding broker relationships.
- Attending industry events and gatherings.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Preference for 1-3 years of full-time, professional work experience in a commercial setting, including legal, insurance, finance, accounting, or related sectors.
- Role would also suit a recent graduate from a leading university with a 2:1 degree or higher, with a strong interest in M&A and how businesses grow, transact, and manage risk.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Careful attention to detail.
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written, and desire to build industry relationships.
