About Us

At National Grid, we're at the heart of the energy transition, connecting millions of people to the energy they use every day. As we invest in building and upgrading the network needed for a cleaner, more secure energy future, procurement plays a vital role in delivering the infrastructure, partnerships and innovation that make it possible.

Job Purpose

The Data Management Senior Analyst plays a key role in driving excellence in Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance across National Grid, with a particular focus on SAP S/4HANA and Master Data Governance (MDG).

The role is responsible for the accurate, timely, and controlled creation, maintenance, and governance of Customer, Vendor, Business Partner, and Finance Master Data. As a subject matter expert in MDG processes and technology, the individual will ensure master data is managed in accordance with governance policies, control requirements, and business objectives.

Working closely with business stakeholders, data owners, and global teams, the Data Management Senior Analyst will drive improvements in data quality, governance, and operational efficiency while helping shape future ways of working and supporting the adoption of best practices across National Grid.

The role is also accountable for supporting audit activities, facilitating control walkthroughs, maintaining audit evidence, and ensuring compliance with internal control frameworks and regulatory requirements.

In addition, the role will support digital transformation initiatives through the adoption of Microsoft Power Platform and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, identifying opportunities to automate processes, enhance data quality, strengthen controls, and reduce manual effort.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
