Global Infrastructure Advisors (GIA)

Global Infrastructure Advisors (GIA) is a leading infrastructure advisory firm, offering strategic and financial guidance to clients in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

From our UK, KSA, and Morocco offices, we work with project developers, investors, and public-sector stakeholders to facilitate the execution of high-quality infrastructure projects that contribute to sustainable economic development.

Our services span the entire project lifecycle from concept development and feasibility studies to financial close and post-financial close advisory for both public-private partnerships (PPPs) and private-to-private arrangements including Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) and Build-Own-Operate (BOO) structures.

With over $11bn+ of energy and infrastructure transactions supported across five continents, GIA brings international expertise and a proven track record of successful project delivery. GIA is looking for a talented and ambitious cross-disciplinary individual to join the team as a full-time Analyst (entry position).

  • Become a core member of GIA project development and financial advisory team
  • Support the team in ad hoc project development tasks for high-stakes, impactful infrastructure projects
  • Apply financial knowledge to ensure accurate representation of financial principles
  • Develop and maintain financial models for infrastructure projects in emerging markets
  • Assist in the preparation of data analysis, reports, and proposals
  • Assist in securing new business and providing administrative support for business development activities
  • Conduct research, including understanding ongoing DFI projects, infrastructure initiatives, and lead generation
  • Collaborate with teams to gather and analyze data for decision-making
  • Maintain high-quality communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Utilise advanced Microsoft skills - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Qualifications

(Meet min. 3 of the below)

  • MBA, MSc, BSc, MA, or BA degree
  • Top-tier university background requirement
  • Working fluency in French, Portuguese, Arabic, and other languages is a plus
  • Understanding of infrastructure development is a plus
  • Success in exiting or building a new business is advantageous
  • Background in IB, PE, or Strategy Consulting is advantageous
