Position Overview

Aksia is seeking a talented Analyst/Associate to join the Pan-Alternatives team. The Pan-Alternatives team at Aksia is responsible for developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with large, sophisticated investors, bringing together the resources of the firm for the benefit of each client. The team works with existing clients on the development and implementation of their alternative investment portfolios and is also the central point for the marketing and business development efforts of the firm.

This position is based in Aksia’s London office with the possibility of relocation to Zurich and will involve interaction with global colleagues and clients.

Reporting line: Martin Fahr, Managing Director Swiss office

Responsibilities

  • Support for business development and outreach in German speaking areas, including logistics for road shows, conferences, and preparing meeting notes
  • Helping to maintain and develop marketing materials
  • Coordinating client-focused projects across research, asset class, legal/compliance, and client operations teams
  • Collecting, organizing, and tracking prospective client information
  • Helping with client meeting preparation, including presentations, proposals, pacing, strategic planning, data rooms, and other ad-hoc projects
  • Continually developing knowledge and expertise on alternatives strategies and investment opportunities to help clients meet their specific objectives

Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of experience with knowledge of alternative strategies, specifically private equity, private credit, real assets, real estate, and/or hedge funds
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills
  • Highly motivated and organized
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage projects independently
  • Attentive to detail
  • Strong excel skills
  • Effective writing and communication skills
  • Positive attitude, team player, and strong work ethic
  • German and English languages are a requirement
