Job Description

Hybrid / Oxford, United Kingdom
Full-time

At NIQ Consumer Panel Services, we’re committed to delivering the Full View of shopper behaviour by helping FMCG manufacturers and retailers understand how shoppers behave, what drives their choices, and where the next growth opportunities lie. Our Homescan panel data gives clients a rich view of real shopper behaviour, helping them make better decisions across brand, category, range, pricing, and shopper strategy.

We are looking for an Analytics Sales Consultant to join our Consumer Analytical Solutions team. This is a client-facing, commercially focused role for someone who can turn rich shopper data into compelling insight solutions, identify growth opportunities, and support the development of paid analytical projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with sales, customer success, and specialist analytics teams to shape solutions that respond to client business challenges. You will help identify client needs, design appropriate analytical approaches, support proposals and pitches, and ensure projects are delivered with clear commercial value and actionable recommendations.

Salary: 41,900 GBP to 51,200 GBP gross per year. Placement within the range will depend on objective criteria including experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. We are committed to equal pay and pay transparency. Remuneration decisions are made using gender-neutral and objective criteria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and shape commercial analytics opportunities using NIQ Consumer Panel Services data.
  • Translate client business questions into clear analytical approaches and compelling insight solutions.
  • Partner with sales and customer success teams to support client conversations, proposals, and pitches.
  • Design tailored solutions that combine behavioural shopper data with attitudinal research where relevant.
  • Work with modelling, scripting, and delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered smoothly and to a high standard.
  • Present insight stories and recommendations that help clients make better commercial decisions.
  • Build strong internal networks to raise awareness of analytical capabilities and create new growth opportunities.
  • Act as an advocate for the value of shopper analytics across NIQ and with clients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in insight, analytics, category management, commercial strategy, or consultative sales, ideally within FMCG, retail, or consumer data.
  • Strong analytical curiosity and the ability to turn data into clear, commercially relevant recommendations.
  • Confidence engaging clients and senior stakeholders, with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A consultative mindset, with the ability to understand client challenges and shape solutions around them.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across sales, customer success, and expert teams.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with shopper or consumer panel data, survey design, or attitudinal research would be an advantage but is not essential.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data, insight, client engagement, and commercial growth. You will help major FMCG and retail clients unlock the value of real shopper behaviour and turn insight into action.
