About Us
We’re a team of highly skilled community of 40+ scientists on a mission to create the world’s best guilt-free, sustainable meat. The meat we make is cultivated meat just like real meat, only made differently.
We’re looking for a talented analytical scientist to join an innovative, multidisciplinary team, building the analytical methods to support biologics development, and ultimately, more cost-effective immunotherapeutics.
About the Role
You’ll develop and run the analytical assays that tell us how well our cell lines and expression systems perform. Working across a range of techniques and throughputs, you’ll design robust, reproducible methods, deliver them on time, and help train the wider team to use them. This is a hands-on role at the centre of a growing, cross-disciplinary team, where your work directly shapes the direction of our projects.
What You’ll Do

- Execute analytical assays to a high standard, in a reliable and reproducible way
- Author SOPs, training documents and COSHH forms as key deliverables
- Train team members to a high level of competence to ensure data integrity
- Document research findings clearly in a lab book
- Communicate regularly in group meetings, and prepare and deliver presentations to the project team and internal stakeholders
- Share in routine laboratory maintenance with your colleagues, including equipment upkeep, cleaning rotas and consumables stock management
- Support the preparation of laboratory risk assessments and maintain health and safety protocols
- Maintain the confidentiality of the project and protocols
- Keep up to date with current technologies and scientific literature to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
