ANALYTICS ENGINEER
LONDON/HYBRID
UP TO £80,000
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, data-driven organisation investing heavily in its analytics capabilities. You'll play a central role in shaping the data models, reporting infrastructure, and analytical foundations that support decision-making across multiple business functions.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Analytics Engineer will:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data models using dbt
- Develop and optimise ELT/ETL processes for analytical use cases
- Support the organisation's Looker environment, including LookML development
- Work closely with Data Engineering teams to prepare and model data effectively
- Build reliable, well-documented datasets that analysts can confidently consume
- Implement data quality checks, testing, and monitoring processes
- Support analytics projects across marketing, product, commercial, and operational teams
- Contribute to the development of AI-enabled analytics capabilities and conversational analytics tooling
- Identify opportunities to automate, optimise, and improve existing workflows

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

- Strong commercial experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or modern BI development
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write efficient, scalable queries
- Hands-on experience with dbt
- Experience with GCP
- Experience with Airflow
- Strong experience building and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines
- Experience working with Looker and LookML
- Knowledge of dimensional modelling and analytics best practices
- Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with AI tooling
