🚀 Senior Analytics Engineer

I’m working with a rapidly scaling, data-led technology company that is looking to appoint a Senior Analytics Engineer to join one of its most commercially important teams.
The business operates in a complex, fast-moving environment where data underpins real-time decisions, product development and increasingly sophisticated AI-driven workflows.
This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of the data models and foundations behind these systems, working closely with engineering, product and operational stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and building foundational data models for analytics, data science and AI use cases
- Developing the data foundations that support agentic and automated workflows
- Building scalable, efficient and reliable dbt pipelines
- Improving data quality through testing, monitoring and alerting
- Translating business requirements into practical data solutions
- Helping shape analytics engineering standards as the company scales

What we’re looking for:
- Five or more years’ experience across analytics engineering, data engineering, data analysis or a related position
- Advanced SQL skills, ideally including BigQuery and PostgreSQL
- Strong commercial experience using dbt
- Python skills for scripting, automation and data manipulation
- Experience with tools such as Tableau, Looker or similar
- The ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- An interest in using AI tools to improve development workflows

Experience with orchestration tools such as Dagster or Airflow, real-time data pipelines, machine-learning workflows or customer-facing products would be beneficial.
