Analytics Engineer

x2 days a month in their HQ in Surrey

We're partnered with a major UK consumer financial services group that has put serious investment behind its cloud data estate over the last few years. The data and AI function is expanding, and this hire will work day to day with engineers, scientists, analysts and architects across a genuinely broad platform.

The culture is agile and hands-on. The focus here is durable, reusable data products rather than ad hoc reporting, so there's real scope to own models end to end and see them used widely across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and tune the pipelines that feed analytics and AI workloads, with a focus on reliability and performance at scale
  • Own data models end to end, from source through to curated, well-documented outputs the wider business can trust
  • Bring together data from a range of systems, applying the governance, quality and engineering standards the platform runs on
  • Partner with product owners and agile squads to turn business problems into delivered data solutions
  • Shape how the team works, raising the bar on tooling, testing and engineering practice across the data community

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
