About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our team on a contractual basis, to begin at the start of July. This is a critical role where you will be working on data-driven projects primarily within the Energy sector. The role demands strong analytical capabilities and the ability to transform data insights into actionable outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Databricks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.
  • Integrate new data sources and manage ETL processes.
  • Optimise and enhance the performance of complex SQL queries.

Role requirements:

  • Extensive experience with SQL and Databricks, pivotal for managing large datasets and data infrastructure.
  • Preferred experience in data engineering, particularly with system integrations.
  • Familiarity with the Energy sector to quickly adapt and effectively contribute to the project.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressing timelines.
