Reporting & Analytics Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Reporting & Analytics Engineer to join a high-profile programme delivering modern data and analytics solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented data professional with strong expertise in Power BI, Snowflake, SQL, Azure Data Factory and DataOps.live to play a key role in transforming enterprise reporting and analytics capabilities.
The Role
As a Reporting & Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering scalable reporting and analytics solutions that provide meaningful business insights. Working within a modern cloud data environment, you will help drive the adoption of Data Products and best practices across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Data Products & Modern Data Architecture
- Define, develop and operationalise Data Products, ensuring clear ownership, discoverability and reusability.
- Champion modern data management principles and data product thinking across the business.
- Support the evolution of enterprise data capabilities through scalable and governed solutions.

Business Intelligence & Visualisation
- Lead the design and development of enterprise reporting solutions using Power BI, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory and DataOps.live.
- Develop scalable semantic models, datasets and dashboards aligned to business KPIs.
- Optimise report performance and implement best practices in visualisation, usability and user experience.
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into impactful analytics solutions.
Data Engineering & Integration
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes and data integration frameworks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement data ingestion pipelines.
- Utilise SQL and Python to support data transformation, automation and analytics requirements.
- Ensure the accuracy, accessibility and integrity of enterprise data assets.
Cloud Data Platforms
- Work hands-on with Snowflake as the core enterprise data platform.
- Contribute to the design and optimisation of cloud-based data solutions.
- Support high availability, scalability and performance across data systems and reporting platforms.
- Assist with the implementation of modern data engineering and DataOps practices.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience with Microsoft Power BI.
- Extensive SQL expertise.
- Experience with Snowflake in a production environment.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Experience using DataOps.live.
- Strong understanding of Data Products and modern data architecture concepts.
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python or another programming language.
- Experience delivering scalable analytics and reporting solutions within enterprise environments.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of real-time and streaming data architectures.
- Certifications in Power BI, Microsoft Azure and/or Snowflake.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively bridge business and technical teams.
- Experience working within large-scale transformation or data modernisation programmes.
