Analytics Engineer (UK)

Composed of Chromalox, Durex Industries, Vulcanic, and Thermocoax businesses, Electrical Thermal Solutions (ETS), part of Spirax Group, creates electrical process heating and temperature management solutions, including industrial heaters and systems, heat tracing, and a range of component technologies.

At Chromalox, we build advanced thermal technologies for the world’s most challenging industrial heating applications.

Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, we got our start with an innovative solution 100 years ago when a self-taught engineer invented the first metal-sheathed resistance heating element. It was this then-advanced thermal technology that launched an entire industry.

We excel in industries that have high expectations. We are acknowledged as experts at delivering solutions that exceed specifications, limit risk, and reduce operating costs.

Join us as we continue to provide solutions to our customers and the world!

The Role:

Under the guidance of the team and the Head of Data & Analytics, the Analytics Engineer will contribute to expanding the company’s use of data as a driver of business performance and operational improvement. This is an end-to-end data role, covering both the engineering of data pipelines and the development of Power BI reporting and analytics solutions.

This role sits within the central, global Data & Analytics team. The successful candidate will build and maintain data pipelines using Azure technologies and will develop Power BI reports and dashboards for business stakeholders across functions, regions, and business units. They will work with a good degree of independence on well-defined requirements, while drawing on the Senior Analytics Engineer for guidance on more complex or ambiguous problems.

The role requires hands-on experience with SQL and Azure data engineering technologies, including Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Synapse Link, and Microsoft Fabric. The successful candidate will build and maintain data pipelines and data models and will also develop the Power BI reports and dashboards that sit on top of those pipelines. This is not a pure reporting role, and candidates who only have Power BI experience without data engineering skills will not be suitable.

The successful candidate will design, build, test, deploy, and support both data pipelines and Power BI reporting solutions, working across the data lifecycle from ingestion and transformation through to reporting and user support.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
