More about our mission and what we offer.

Job Description

We're looking for a Analytics Engineering Director (AEL 3) in Servicing to join our Analytics Engineering team in London.

Wise has already pioneered new ways for people to transfer money across borders and currencies. Our customers can also manage their hard-earned money with the world's first platform to offer true multi-currency banking. Your mission is to help us build better products faster by making it easy for Wisers to make data-informed decisions.

At Wise, we work with over 300+ Analysts and more than 7000 weekly active users of our Business Intelligence Tools. As a Senior Analytics Engineering Manager, you'll be crucial in ensuring it's easy to find & load relevant, trustable data quickly.

Here's how you'll be contributing to the Analytics Engineering team:

  • People Leadership: You will scale an existing team of 8 to 20+ within the next 12 months - keeping the bar high while scaling and ensuring everyone on the team is consistently growing.
  • Defining & Implementing Strategy: You will work closely with the Engineering, Product & Analytics leads of the Servicing tribe (FinCrime, Customer Support, Risk) to drive the strategy for how we can utilise Data & Analytics for best outcomes for our customers.
  • Core Data Sets: You will play a key role in ensuring trustable, discoverable, context-enriched core datasets exist. This involves working closely with users of these datasets as well as Engineers emitting the source data they’re based on.
  • Tooling Evangelist: Ensure Wise stays ahead of the curve by acting as the go-to expert for new tooling like AI applications - including conversational AI, leveraging AI for data asset enablement, and workflow optimisation. Leading its adoption and successful rollout across the organization. You’ll own metrics to track the success of this like lead time for getting new data assets live.
  • Best Practices Driver: Assess and implement data modelling best practices across your tribe, elevating our data capabilities and cost sustainability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
