- Build your own team of one to two analysts within the first year as the company scales from 60 to 150 employees.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You Will Do
- Consolidate a sprawling estate of 50+ dashboards into a defended core set of metrics that the entire company runs on daily.
- Embed self-serve analytics across non-technical functions, ensuring commercial and product teams can answer their own questions without relying on engineering.
- Maintain the semantic layer and core metric definitions, bridging the gap between raw warehouse data and high-level business strategy.
The ideal candidate
- Deeply hands-on with SQL, dbt, and modern BI tools, with a track record of building production-grade data models and semantic layers.
- Proven experience navigating reporting sprawl at scale, ideally having consolidated complex data estates within high-growth or fintech environments.
- Thrives in a high-intensity "9 to 9" office culture and possesses the commercial acumen to translate business needs into technical specifications.
