Analytics Lead - Marketing & Product

Up to £96,000+ | Hybrid - 1 day per week in Cardiff

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Analytics Lead to join a business undergoing significant transformation. This is a greenfield role, offering the chance to shape the analytics function, influence strategic decisions, and build best practice from the ground up.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll split your time between 70% hands-on analytics and 30% leadership and strategy, leading a small analytics team while remaining close to the technical work.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead analytics across marketing and product functions
  • Deliver actionable insights into customer behaviour, product performance and marketing effectiveness
  • Build and enhance dashboards, KPIs and measurement frameworks
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to drive commercial decisions
  • Coach and develop a small team of analysts
  • Help establish a scalable, high-performing analytics capability

What we're looking for

  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python
  • Experience working with Snowflake and Matillion
  • Exposure to AWS (or another major cloud platform)
  • Strong commercial mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring analytics professionals
