Pulse is partnering with one of the UK's largest digital media businesses, a household name reaching millions of readers every day and now embarking on one of the biggest subscription transformations in the industry.
With ambitious growth targets and a business wide focus on customer data, analytics has become one of the most influential functions in the organisation. This team exists to uncover commercial insights, challenge assumptions and shape the decisions that drive subscriber growth.
You'll work alongside senior analytics leadership, owning customer analytics across acquisition, conversion, retention and lifetime value, helping one of the UK's most recognisable consumer brands make smarter, data-led decisions.

What you'll be doing:
- Owning analytics across the full customer lifecycle, from acquisition and conversion through to retention, ARPU and lifetime value
- Digging into behavioural data to uncover insights the business hasn't yet identified and translating them into commercial recommendations
- Partnering closely with Product, Marketing and Data Science to influence customer strategy and experimentation
- Designing and analysing A/B tests to understand both short and long-term customer behaviour
- Building the roadmap for your area, helping shape the direction of analytics across the wider business
- Leading and mentoring a team of analysts while championing commercial thinking across the function

What they're looking for:
- Strong hands-on SQL experience working with large behavioural datasets (BigQuery is a bonus)
- Experience across customer, subscription or marketing analytics within a digital business
- Strong understanding of acquisition, retention, segmentation, churn and customer lifetime value
- Experience designing and analysing experiments and A/B tests
- Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders through data-driven storytelling
- Previous experience leading or mentoring analysts
