Analytics Manager Contract
Rate: £350 per day, outside IR35
Duration: Initial 3–4 weeks
Start: ASAP, ideally Monday 21 September 2026
We’re looking for an experienced Analytics Manager to join an agency on a short-term contract, supporting a client’s digital discovery project. Working alongside the agency team, you’ll assess current performance and measurement capabilities, identify opportunities to improve user journeys, and shape the measurement approach for a new platform.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review the existing measurement framework to assess its suitability for the new platform, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
- Benchmark current performance against agreed KPIs to establish a baseline for measuring future improvements.
- Analyse user behaviour across key digital journeys, identifying pain points, drop-off points and opportunities to improve the customer experience.
- Conduct an AI measurement audit, assessing requirements and recommending the appropriate platform for performance measurement.
- Develop a test and learn framework to validate hypotheses before scaling changes and support continuous improvement.
- Create a prioritised measurement roadmap for subsequent project phases, outlining key activities and dependencies.
- Present findings and practical recommendations to agency and client stakeholders, helping the team turn insight into action.

Experience required:
- Proven experience in an Analytics Manager or similar digital analytics role, ideally within an agency or consultancy.
- Experience developing and reviewing measurement frameworks, defining KPIs and establishing performance benchmarks.
- Strong analytical skills, with a track record of translating user behaviour and journey data into actionable recommendations.
- Experience supporting digital discovery, platform migration or customer experience projects.
- Knowledge of analytics platforms, tracking requirements and data quality assessment.
- Familiarity with AI measurement requirements and the evaluation of relevant measurement tools.
- Experience designing test and learn programmes, including hypothesis development and success criteria.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to explain findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable working independently and delivering clear, practical outputs within a short engagement.
