Analytics & Social Insights Manager
£300 per day, outside IR35 🔺 Hybrid working in London (not negotiable) 🔺 Long-term assignment
SALT is supporting a business seeking an Analytics & Social Insights Manager to lead and operationalise insight generation across a demand generation and audience engagement function.
This role will own the day-to-day insight roadmap across social, digital and demand generation channels, translating audience behaviour, consumer sentiment and performance data into actionable recommendations. You'll ensure priorities are clear, delivery is coordinated across multiple workstreams, and insights are embedded into planning, optimisation and commercial decision-making. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on analysis, helping stakeholders better understand what audiences are saying, doing and responding to across channels.
What You'll Do
- Lead the day-to-day insight and analytics roadmap across social, digital and demand generation activities.
- Translate audience, consumer and performance data into clear recommendations that inform marketing strategy, content planning and campaign optimisation.
- Identify emerging trends, conversations, consumer behaviours and opportunities through social listening, performance analytics and market intelligence.
- Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring priorities, dependencies and timelines remain aligned.
- Embed reporting, dashboards and insight-led recommendations into regular business decision-making routines.
- Partner with marketing, content, performance and commercial stakeholders to improve how insights support planning, measurement and optimisation.
- Maintain a holistic view of audience and campaign performance while deep-diving into specific business questions and opportunities as required.
- Champion an insight-led culture by ensuring social, audience and digital performance data is accessible, actionable and widely adopted across the organisation.

- Strong experience within analytics, consumer insights, social intelligence, marketing effectiveness or audience measurement.
- Experience using data to understand customer behaviour, audience engagement, campaign performance and emerging trends.
- Comfortable translating complex datasets into compelling stories, recommendations and strategic actions for stakeholders.
- Experience managing insight roadmaps or programmes across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Strong understanding of social, digital and demand generation channels and how they contribute to broader business outcomes.
- Comfortable operating in complex environments with multiple stakeholders and changing priorities.
- Able to connect commercial objectives with detailed analytical and insight-driven execution.
- Experience embedding insights and analytics outputs into business, marketing or commercial decision-making processes.
