Experienced Anaplan Modeller
We're looking for an experienced Anaplan Modeller to join our team and play a key role in developing and evolving our Anaplan estate. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of financial planning, delivering scalable solutions that improve forecasting, planning and reporting across the business.
You'll combine strong technical expertise with a problem-solving mindset, partnering with stakeholders to turn complex business requirements into practical, high-quality Anaplan solutions.
What you'll be doing
- Design, build and enhance Anaplan models that support planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance management activities across Finance.
- Lead end-to-end model development, ensuring solutions are scalable, efficient, user-friendly and aligned to business priorities.
- Gather, challenge and translate business requirements into practical Anaplan solutions that deliver measurable value to stakeholders.
- Partner closely with FP&A, Finance and other business teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Manage model governance, including documentation, naming standards, role-based access controls and change management processes.
- Maintain and optimise existing models, carrying out upgrades, roll-forwards and structural enhancements to support evolving business needs.
- Own and improve data integrations between Anaplan and connected finance systems, helping to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy.
- Monitor model performance and data quality, resolving issues quickly and implementing preventative controls where required.
- Support the development of reporting and dashboard solutions, working with tools such as Power BI where appropriate.
- Deliver user support, training and guidance to encourage adoption and ensure stakeholders maximise the value of Anaplan.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, simplifying planning and reporting processes to create a more efficient and scalable FP&A environment.
- Work collaboratively with Finance and MI teams to ensure planning outputs provide clear, consistent and actionable business insights.
- Act as the subject matter expert for Anaplan, promoting best practice and supporting the long-term development of the platform.

What we're looking for
- Minimum 4 years' hands-on experience building and developing Anaplan models
- Anaplan Level 2 Certification (minimum requirement)
- Strong understanding of model governance, controls and best practices
- Experienced in Power BI or reporting tools
- Experience working with data integrations, APIs, ETL tools or Anaplan Data Orchestration
- Proven ability to translate complex requirements into practical, user-focused solutions
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience within Finance, FP&A or Financial Services would be advantageous
- A natural problem solver with a delivery-focused approach
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Data-driven, curious and always looking for smarter ways of working
