About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Developer to join our talented team. This role is pivotal in shaping and delivering high-quality Android applications that meet our clients’ evolving needs. As a Senior Developer at Waracle, you will be responsible for end-to-end development, from designing innovative features to deploying robust mobile solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and stakeholders, to create user-centric, scalable, and efficient Android applications. The role offers a hybrid working model, providing flexibility with two days a week dedicated to collaborating in our London office or on client sites, fostering a balanced work-life environment.

Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Jetpack Compose and a solid grasp of Google's Android Design Principles are essential. Candidates with familiarity or experience in cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter will be highly regarded. A strong commitment to writing clean, maintainable code, coupled with practical knowledge of architecture patterns such as MVVM or MVI, is required. Additionally, familiarity with third-party libraries, testing methodologies, and version control systems like Git is necessary. We value curiosity and a willingness to learn new technologies, so openness to exploring different mobile ecosystems is highly desirable.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
