About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that drive our innovative platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver seamless mobile experiences for our clients and end-users. Your expertise will contribute to the development of our framework powering various products within the Flypay ecosystem, including features like Pay at Table, Order Ahead, and Pay at Bar. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of mobile technology, influence product development, and support our global expansion efforts.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of commercial Android development experience.
- Proven portfolio of released Android applications demonstrating technical proficiency.
- Strong understanding of Android SDK, architecture, and lifecycle management.
- Excellent skills in developing optimized UI for various Android versions and device types.
- Experience working with Android Google Maps API.
- Familiarity with publishing applications on the Google Play Store.
- Hands-on experience with Android testing frameworks such as Espresso, Robolectric, and Spoon.
- Knowledge of using ProGuard in released applications for code obfuscation and optimization.
- Experience working with Model-View patterns and dependency injection.
- Proficiency with GIT source control management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of designing, implementing, and maintaining robust Android applications aligned with project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and ship new features that enhance user experience.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Work with external data sources and APIs to integrate third-party services seamlessly.
- Conduct thorough unit testing to ensure application robustness, usability, and reliability across different devices and scenarios.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate best practices to optimize development efficiency.
- Support the development and enhancement of a framework enabling third-party developers to create branded app versions.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and maintenance activities to uphold high-quality standards.
