Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Jetpack, and Android application architecture, with experience integrating REST APIs and building scalable, secure, and user-friendly mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Build responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces using Jetpack Compose and XML.
- Develop reusable, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party services.
- Implement Android architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, and Clean Architecture.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
- Identify and resolve application bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
- Implement secure authentication, data storage, and API integrations.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Write unit and UI tests to ensure application quality.
- Manage application releases through Google Play Console.
- Ensure compatibility across different Android versions and device types.

Required Technical Skills

- 5+ years of Android development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
- Good knowledge of Java and Android SDK.
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and Android XML layouts.
- Strong understanding of Android Architecture Components.
- Experience with MVVM / Clean Architecture.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Knowledge of Retrofit, OkHttp, Coroutines, and Kotlin Flow.
- Experience with Room Database / SQLite.
- Good understanding of Android lifecycle, memory management, and multithreading.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with JUnit, Espresso, or other Android testing frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Android Studio and Gradle.
