About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android App Developer to join our remote Mobile Team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining the Android version of our flagship mobile application. Your expertise will ensure that our app offers a seamless, high-performance, and visually stunning experience that aligns with our brand’s luxury standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver innovative features and improvements that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Android app development.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
- Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integration techniques.
- Familiarity with modern app architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and the ability to implement visually appealing interfaces.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the Android application, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and stability.
- Implement new features and optimize existing functionalities based on user feedback and business requirements.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional code that aligns with the company's luxury branding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security issues proactively.
- Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the app.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
- Document technical specifications, code, and processes for future reference and team knowledge sharing.
