About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our talented team at Bjss. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Android application development with a strong portfolio of published apps.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
  • Solid understanding of Android SDK, architecture components, and best practices.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and mobile UI/UX design principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications aligned with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Implement new features and optimize existing functionalities for performance and usability.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Identify and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues proactively.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative solutions.
  • Assist in the testing and deployment of applications, ensuring quality standards are met.
