About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our talented team at Bjss. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining an enterprise-level mobile platform that caters to a diverse range of sectors. Qualifications
- Proven experience in Android application development with a strong portfolio of published apps.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
- Solid understanding of Android SDK, architecture components, and best practices.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and mobile UI/UX design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications aligned with project requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Implement new features and optimize existing functionalities for performance and usability.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Identify and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues proactively.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative solutions.
- Assist in the testing and deployment of applications, ensuring quality standards are met.
