Role Description
The Angel Investor role at YooKatale is a hybrid position based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some work from home. The Angel Investor will identify and evaluate investment opportunities related to YooKatale’s growth, including market expansion, technology enhancements, and strategic partnerships. The role also involves providing mentorship to the founding team, offering insights on governance, risk management, and scaling operations across regions. The Angel Investor will maintain regular communication with YooKatale’s leadership and stakeholders to monitor performance and help drive sustainable impact and returns.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in early-stage investing, including evaluating startups, assessing risk, and structuring angel investments.
- Background in finance, venture capital, private equity, or entrepreneurship, with the ability to interpret financial statements and growth projections.
- Knowledge of food, agriculture, or technology markets; experience with emerging markets or African ecosystems is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic guidance on scaling businesses, market entry, partnerships, and governance.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and founders.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setup and across time zones; willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
