Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual to join our team in a varied operational role. You will require strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends and insights, and produce clear, accurate reports to support operational performance and informed decision-making. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, you will help deliver a high-quality service by supporting customers and stakeholders, providing advice and guidance, and ensuring work is completed accurately and in line with relevant policies and procedures. You will also have opportunities to support and guide colleagues, contribute to continuous improvement activities, and help the team adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and stakeholders through a variety of channels
  • Provide clear advice and guidance on processes, requirements and timescales
  • Support the effective delivery of team priorities, helping to coordinate workloads and maintain service standards
  • Apply policies, legislation, governance requirements and operational procedures accurately and consistently
  • Support the implementation of new processes and ways of working
  • Produce reports, management information and operational updates to support decision-making
  • Carry out quality assurance activities and identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery
  • Support and develop colleagues through knowledge sharing, coaching and day-to-day guidance where required
  • Manage complex or escalated customer enquiries, issues and complaints professionally and effectively
  • Undertake additional duties as required to support business priorities, including critical response activities when needed

Person Specification

The Following Experience Is Required For The Role:

  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interrogate, interpret and present complex data, identify trends and patterns, and translate findings into clear reports to support operational performance and decision-making
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support and develop others, including managing performance, wellbeing, conduct and attendance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer focus and the ability to handle telephone and email enquiries professionally and confidently
  • Ability to make effective decisions using evidence, sound judgement and an understanding of operational context
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Resilient, adaptable and proactive, with the confidence to navigate change, identify problems and solutions, and embrace new ways of working
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications

The interview

The interview will follow a blended approach and will last approximately 45 minutes.
