Job Title: Animal Studies Technician

Location: Lancaster

Salary: £24,932 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week

Do you have a passion for animal welfare and want to help shape the next generation of animal care professionals?

We are seeking a dedicated Animal Studies Technician to join our Animal Studies, Science & Access team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the care and welfare of a wide range of animals, ensuring the highest standards of husbandry, health, safety and animal welfare are maintained at all times. You will support practical teaching sessions, prepare resources and equipment, maintain animal enclosures and learning environments, manage stock and supplies, and act as a positive role model for students.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in animal care and management, a minimum Level 2 Animal Care qualification, excellent practical skills, and a commitment to creating outstanding learning experiences.
