About the Project
We’re making an environmental-social app. It makes cutting carbon easy, fun & social - leveraging positive peer pressure to create a movement of action to protect our planet from climate change.
We have created the MVP of the Android app, and are about 85% the way through the iOS!
About Us
We are 30 enthusiastic climate volunteers with experience from NASA / Sky / WhatsApp / Facebook / Airbus / NHS / rapid-scale start-ups, with climate scientists, Olympians, Guinness-world record-holders all on board to make the project a huge success.

Role Description
We’re looking for someone who cares about preventing the upcoming climate crisis, and who has the necessary skills to help with animation on The Climate App. The preferred skills are as follows:
- 3D artist
- Strong experience creating and animating 3D assets, ideally using Cinema 4D
- Familiar with texturing, lighting, and rendering using Redshift or similar
- Understanding of character modelling, rigging, and skinning in preparation for animation
- Experience with developing and building simple/fun/stylised characters - humans, animals, and imaginary
- Expertise in general compositing using After Effects (combining 2D and 3D elements)
- Delivering high quality final 3D animation within a limited timeframe
- Ability to work within a visual style consistent with set themes and general art direction
- Excellent communicator - happy to collaborate
