Join the ANPR Unit and help transform vehicle data into intelligence that makes a real difference.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the ANPR Unit and play a direct role in fighting crime and keeping people safe.
Using local and national ANPR systems, specialist technology and proven analytical methods, you will identify vehicles linked to criminal activity that pose a threat to communities across the Thames Valley Police area and beyond our borders.
You will review and analyse ANPR data, support the response to live ANPR incidents and provide high-quality vehicle intelligence to help build the best possible intelligence picture across the Force.
This is a unique opportunity to support frontline policing, disrupt criminal activity and use ANPR technology to make a real difference to public safety.

Responsibilities
- Identify vehicles linked to criminal activity that pose a threat to communities across the Thames Valley Police area and beyond our borders.
- Review and analyse ANPR data.
- Support the response to live ANPR incidents.
- Provide high-quality vehicle intelligence to help build the best possible intelligence picture across the Force.
Requirements
- Capability to travel to different locations across the Force.
- Undertake all assignments in a timely manner.
