Role Description
The ANSUL Engineer role is a full-time, UK wide position. The ANSUL Engineer will install, commission, inspect, service, and maintain ANSUL fire suppression systems in line with manufacturer guidelines, industry standards, and company procedures. Daily tasks include:

- Conducting site surveys
- Troubleshooting system faults
- Performing routine maintenance/installations and testing
- Completing accurate service reports
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety requirements

The role involves working closely with customers to explain system functions, advise on remedial actions or upgrades, and provide a professional and courteous service at all times. The ANSUL Engineer will also:
- Collaborate with colleagues
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Follow health and safety protocols
- Support continuous improvement of processes and service quality
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess fire suppression system expertise, including experience with ANSUL systems, system installation, servicing, commissioning, and fault diagnosis.
- Candidates should possess strong technical and mechanical skills, including working with tools and equipment, reading technical drawings or schematics, and following manufacturer specifications.
- Candidates should possess good communication and customer service skills, including the ability to explain technical information clearly, build positive client relationships, and represent the company professionally on site.
- Candidates should possess solid organisational skills, including accurate recordkeeping, time management, planning routes and site visits, and working independently with minimal supervision.
- Relevant certifications or accreditations in fire protection or engineering, such as industry-standard ANSUL training or equivalent fire safety qualifications, would be beneficial.
- A valid UK driving licence, willingness to travel to customer sites, and adherence to health and safety regulations are required.
- Experience in the wider fire safety industry, knowledge of applicable British Standards and regulations, and a commitment to continuous professional development are an advantage.
