The BCH ACU are seeking a full-time (37hrs) ACU Administration to work in the exciting area of police corruption.
Responsibilities
The ACU Administrator is responsible for:
- Conducting initial intelligence triage
- Managing workflow
- Identifying and recording potential risks at an early stage
- Escalating concerns appropriately
The administration function is also responsible for:
- Administering the receipt, recording, evaluation, and risk mitigation processes associated with Business Interests, Notifiable Associations, and Gifts and Hospitality
- Identifying and escalating matters of concern or risk to the relevant constabulary supervisors within the Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU)
This role contributes to the delivery of the vision, purpose, and values of Bedfordshire Police, Cambridgeshire Constabulary, and Hertfordshire Constabulary.
Role Requirements
- Travel to different locations across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire for meetings/training events
- Work from different locations across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire
- If using a private vehicle, organize business insurance by the individual
- Possible requirement to work additional hours

Additional Information
- Flexible working will be considered on appointment to post.
- Agile working arrangements are supported within this role; however, regular attendance at the office is required when operationally necessary or upon request.

Vetting Process
Please note that, as part of the vetting process, the BCH Vetting Unit may need to contact your current line manager for a Supervisor Appraisal. This requirement aligns with the 2025 National Guidelines for Vetting (APP 6.5.18). Examples of when this may apply include:
- Transferring to another force
- Renewing vetting clearance
- Moving into a role requiring MV clearance (even if you currently hold MV clearance)
- Moving into or working in a role involving close contact with vulnerable individuals
