UK-regulated challenger bank is seeking an experienced Anti-Financial Crime & Onboarding Manager to join its SME Lending function on a 6-month maternity cover FTC, offering a salary of up to £70,000pa with a hybrid working arrangement (2-3 days per week in the office).

The role sits within the bank's SME Lending business, supporting the delivery of robust first-line Anti-Financial Crime controls across customer onboarding and ongoing customer lifecycle management.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AML/KYC professional who enjoys working closely with frontline teams, improving processes, and acting as a subject matter expert across financial crime risk.

The Role

You will support the ongoing development of AML/KYC processes, provide guidance on complex onboarding matters, and work closely with internal stakeholders across Risk, Lending, Operations and Financial Crime.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
