Quality Control Officer

I am looking for someone to do a short project for a consultancy client of mine on a client project, initially 2 weeks but they are looking at potentially adding more resources to the project, so it could potentially run until year-end.

Ideally, they are looking for someone with 10 years of experience in financial crime with a QC background, and a strong background in corporate banking, with good exposure to emerging markets. A forensic accounting or legal background would be seen as a major positive.

Role based on client site, London City, 5 days a week, rate 400-450 per day. Immediate start

Role Purpose To support a Financial Crime Remediation programme by conducting Quality Control (QC) reviews of remediation activities and performing new client verification checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and financial crime standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
