Description
Full Time / 37 Hours Per Week / Permanent
Play a key role in managing and reducing anti-social behaviour across Leicester City Council’s housing areas.
An exciting opportunity to be a part of a new team working to reduce and tackle anti-social behaviour across the local authority housing areas. Our approach in dealing with anti-social behaviour covers all aspects from prevention to rehabilitation to protection and support of victims and witnesses. As each case is unique so is the way in which each complaint is handled, and actions will depend upon the nature and severity of each incident. An incremental approach has been adopted to manage anti-social behaviour in a consistent and proportionate way. In addition to the incremental approach, you will also use the powers of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act (2014) to resolve complex and high-risk cases.
Join us to work in partnership with tenants, colleagues, elected members, and external agencies such the Police, Victim First and Local Businesses, to identify and reduce anti-social behaviour, and ensure our tenants have a safe and secure environment to live in.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday. However, you’ll be able to work regularly outside of office hours including evenings and weekends. Based in the City Centre, you’ll work from a variety of locations for variable durations as well as from home.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
