Competition Associate | 2-6 PQE | London

SSQ is working with an international firm looking to hire a Competition Associate into its London team. The practice is broad, giving associates the opportunity to build experience across a varied Competition workload.

Role Overview

The team advises on a wide range of Competition matters, including:

  • UK and EU merger control
  • Multi-jurisdictional merger filings
  • Cartel and regulatory investigations
  • Market investigations
  • Behavioural Competition work
  • FDI matters
  • A smaller proportion of contentious Competition work

  • Strong merger control experience
  • Exposure to complex cross-border matters
  • Experience coordinating multi-jurisdictional filings
  • A good understanding of behavioural Competition issues
  • Strong academics and communication skills
  • Experience in investigations and/or FDI would be advantageous.
