Competition Associate | 2-6 PQE | London
SSQ is working with an international firm looking to hire a Competition Associate into its London team. The practice is broad, giving associates the opportunity to build experience across a varied Competition workload.
Role Overview
The team advises on a wide range of Competition matters, including:
- UK and EU merger control
- Multi-jurisdictional merger filings
- Cartel and regulatory investigations
- Market investigations
- Behavioural Competition work
- FDI matters
- A smaller proportion of contentious Competition work

Requirements
They are looking for a mid-level associate. Candidates should ideally have:

- Strong merger control experience
- Exposure to complex cross-border matters
- Experience coordinating multi-jurisdictional filings
- A good understanding of behavioural Competition issues
- Strong academics and communication skills
- Experience in investigations and/or FDI would be advantageous.
