As AOG Desk Team Leader, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for delivering critical aircraft parts, tooling, and logistics support whenever and wherever they are needed. Your leadership will directly contribute to minimizing aircraft downtime, supporting safe operations, and delivering a reliable experience for our customers.
Working at the heart of our operational supply chain, you'll have the opportunity to lead people, improve processes, collaborate with colleagues across the airline, and make a real impact on the performance of our growing aviation business.
This role will be advertised until 5th of November 2026.

ABOUT THE JOB
- Drive improvement of general procurement processes to increase efficiency and ensure compliance.
- Ensure correct ordering, purchase order placement, track delivery compliance, and accounts payable issue resolution.
- Work closely with the Operational Supply Chain Team Leaders across the group.
- Understand how to get the best from our AMOS system, improving processes and tools.
- Co-ordination of all staff allocated to their control within your work area, provide briefings, guidance, and support necessary to deliver assigned daily work plan.
- Monitor task progress and take necessary action to deliver in agreed timescale / budget completing all paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
- Accountable for monitoring team compliance with departmental procedures; Health and Safety, Airport Regulations, and Bylaws.
- Review staff resource plans & training matrix to ensure sufficient staff are available to meet the required departmental work commitments and regulatory requirements.
- Agree appropriate targets that will allow performance to be measured, and take necessary action if effectiveness falls.
- In the absence of the Northern Region Operational Supply Chain Manager, you will be required to assume responsibility.
ABOUT YOU
- Degree level / NVQ level 5 or equivalent.
- Aviation background with management experience.
- Strong IT skills and knowledge of engineering systems.
- Experience in managing and delivering change in a unionised environment.
- Excellent communication, presentational, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to employ analytical tools to improve performance.
- Understanding of Human Factors within the maintenance environment.
- Demonstrable capability of effective performance management.
- Strong communicator and negotiator.
- General financial and commercial acumen.
