Role Overview
You will oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring smooth and efficient financial operations. This role is key to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the business in its day-to-day activities.

Our client is a top-tier insurance organisation based in the City of London.
Description
- Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency within the accounts payable department.
- Supervise and support the accounts payable team, providing guidance and training where needed.
- Resolve payment discrepancies and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Prepare regular financial reports related to accounts payable.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial records and reporting.

Profile
A Successful AP Manager Must Have
- Experience working in the financial services sector is essential.
- Experience managing accounts payable function.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills to manage a team effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external suppliers.

Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from £75,000 to £85,000, dependent on the level of experience.
