Role Overview

The APAC & EMEA Talent Acquisition Leader is a strategic people leader responsible for driving talent acquisition outcomes across multiple geographies, cultures, and operating companies throughout APAC and EMEA.

This role leads a team of recruiters and talent acquisition professionals, partnering closely with business leaders, HR teams, and global TA leadership to develop and execute hiring strategies that enable business growth. Success in this role requires a strong blend of strategic workforce planning, operational excellence, stakeholder influence, and recruiting expertise to build and scale high-performing teams across commercial, technical, operations, corporate, and executive leadership functions.

As a key member of Fortive's Global Talent Acquisition leadership team, this individual will champion best practices, leverage data and analytics to drive decision-making, and continuously improve recruiting processes, candidate experiences, and hiring outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Talent Acquisition Leadership

  • Develop and execute regional talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives, growth plans, and workforce priorities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leaders, HR partners, and hiring managers on talent market intelligence, hiring trends, organizational design, and workforce planning.
  • Lead annual and quarterly hiring forecasts and capacity planning activities across APAC and EMEA.
  • Ensure alignment between regional recruiting priorities and enterprise talent strategies.

Team Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a geographically distributed team of recruiters, sourcing specialists, and talent acquisition professionals.
  • Establish performance expectations, operating rhythms, and development plans that drive accountability and engagement.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity.
  • Build organizational recruiting capability through training, sharing best practices, and mentoring talent acquisition professionals.

Business Partnership

  • Partner closely with HR leaders, business executives, and hiring managers to understand strategic talent needs and critical hiring challenges.
  • Influence workforce decisions through labor market insights, competitive intelligence, and hiring analytics.
  • Facilitate executive-level hiring discussions and support succession and talent planning initiatives.
  • Act as escalation point for complex searches, senior-level hiring decisions, and recruiting challenges.

Recruiting Excellence & Delivery

  • Ensure successful delivery of recruitment goals across commercial, technical, operations, functional, and leadership hiring.
  • Drive consistent execution of recruiting processes, service level agreements, and candidate experience standards.
  • Oversee strategic sourcing initiatives and talent pipelining efforts for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Drive diverse talent attraction strategies and measurable improvements in representation outcomes.

Employer Brand & Talent Market Presence

  • Strengthen Fortive's employer brand across APAC and EMEA markets.
  • Develop partnerships with universities, industry organizations, and talent communities.
  • Promote Fortive's value proposition to attract world-class talent.
  • Represent Fortive at industry events and key talent forums when appropriate.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of Global Talent Acquisition experience.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience leading regional or global recruiting teams.
  • Experience supporting multiple countries across EMEA and/or APAC.
  • Demonstrated success leading executive, technical, commercial, and professional hiring initiatives.
  • Strong experience in workforce planning, talent strategy, and stakeholder management.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and operate effectively within a matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

Preferred

  • Experience within a global industrial, technology, healthcare, or manufacturing organization.
  • Experience working within a shared-services or center-of-excellence recruiting model.
  • Knowledge of UK, EU, and APAC employment practices.
  • Experience with AI, modern TA technologies, CRM platforms, sourcing tools, and recruiting analytics.
  • Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Fortive Business System experience.
