Location: Denby, UK
Reporting to: Finance Director
Function: Finance
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Salary: Competitive
Summary
Are you an organised and detail-oriented finance professional looking to develop your career within a global manufacturing business? As our AP/AR Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, ensuring the smooth processing of invoices, payments, reconciliations, and financial administration across the business.

What Success Looks Like
- Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Match invoices against purchase orders and obtain required approvals.
- Resolve supplier, invoice and credit queries in a timely manner.
- Complete monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
- Support weekly and monthly payment runs.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure timely invoice approvals.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Allocate payments accurately across customer and supplier accounts.
- Prepare customer credit notes following appropriate authorisation.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial records.
What You Bring
- Previous experience in a finance administration role, ideally within Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities. Experience within a manufacturing environment would be desirable.
