API Solution Architect _ Contract _ Dublin, Ireland (Remote)
Job Description
Solution Architect will lead solution architecture for digital corporate-banking capabilities involving the multi:versa platform. The role will focus on corporate customer channels, payments, cash management, account information, onboarding, entitlements, open banking, self-service, and integration with back-end banking platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design corporate-banking journeys across:
- Web channels
- Mobile channels
- API channels
- Host-to-host connectivity
- File-based corporate connectivity
- Define architecture for relevant capabilities, including:
- Corporate payments
- Liquidity services
- Corporate onboarding
- Customer self-service
- Design connectivity between multi:versa and:
- Core banking systems
- Payment engines
- Customer information systems
- Identity and access-management platforms
- Sanctions and financial-crime systems
- FX pricing and execution platforms
- Enterprise integration services
- Notification services
- Reporting platforms
- Enterprise data services
- Define API, messaging, batch, event, and secure file-transfer approaches.
- Define requirements for payment formats, transaction validation, payment status, reporting, and exception handling.
- Present multi:versa solution designs to architecture governance forums.

Experience/Background
- Strong solution architecture experience in corporate banking, transaction banking, or digital banking.
- Strong understanding of:
- Corporate payments
- Cash management
- Account information
- User and entitlement management
- Strong application and integration architecture capability.
- Experience with APIs, open banking, messaging, batch processing, and secure file transfer.
- Experience providing architecture leadership to application and integration squads.
- 7/8 years+ strong solution design experience
- Experience working across customer channels, operational platforms, core systems, and enterprise data services
- Knowledge of Corporate & Retail FX products would be useful
- Knowledge of Capital Markets business would be useful
