JOB PURPOSE

We are hiring an APP Data Analyst to join Burberry’s Asset & Profit Protection team, supporting a global function that helps protect our people, operations and business performance.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of data, risk and operational excellence, ensuring key reporting and insights are delivered with accuracy and impact. Working across multiple business functions, you will help maintain the integrity of critical datasets, support decision-making through analytics, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen risk management and operational efficiency.

The role offers broad exposure across the business, with opportunities to develop expertise in data analytics, reporting, fraud prevention and process improvement within a collaborative and highly experienced team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and enhance Asset & Profit Protection operational data, ensuring accuracy, consistency and data integrity across multiple sources.
  • Cleanse, validate and manage incident, investigation, compliance and operational datasets to support reliable reporting.
  • Maintain and develop Power BI dashboards, Power Apps and reporting tools used across global stakeholder groups.
  • Support digital fraud activities, including chargeback analysis and related data investigations where required.
  • Deliver analysis and reporting to support stock loss, compliance and risk-management initiatives across the business.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate reporting and create new data solutions that drive efficiency and insight.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Experience working with large datasets and delivering accurate, insight-led reporting.
  • Strong Excel capabilities and experience using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI and Power Apps.
  • A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining high standards of data quality.
  • Confidence working independently while building effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Curiosity and a proactive mindset when identifying trends, risks and opportunities within data.
  • Experience in retail fraud prevention, Microsoft Access, SAP or SQL is beneficial but not essential.
