Role Description
This is a volunteer, remote App Developer role contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of HolyFlow’s web and mobile experiences. On a day-to-day basis, the developer will implement new features, refine existing functionality, and ensure reliable performance and security across the application. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, working with databases, integrating third-party services and APIs, and collaborating with designers and content creators to deliver a consistent user experience. The developer will also participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and help optimize front-end styling and responsiveness.

- Software Development and Programming skills for building, maintaining, and improving app functionality.
- Experience working with Databases for storing, retrieving, and managing user and application data securely.
- Proficiency in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related front-end technologies for creating responsive, accessible user interfaces.
- Integration skills for connecting APIs, third-party services, and internal components into a cohesive system.
- Familiarity with modern frameworks or languages (such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, React Native, or similar) is beneficial.
- Understanding of secure coding practices, data privacy, and performance optimization in web and mobile applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment, communicate clearly, and manage tasks independently.
- Interest in or sensitivity to faith-based and wellness-oriented products, with a user-centered design mindset.
