Are you passionate about Apple technology and enjoy helping people solve technical problems? We're recruiting on behalf of a growing and highly regarded Apple Managed Service Provider, looking to add a customer-focused Level 1 IT Support Engineer to help support their growing client base.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting Apple devices and users who is looking to develop their career within a modern, technology-driven environment. You'll become the first point of contact for IT support, providing excellent customer service while resolving a broad range of hardware, software and user issues across a predominantly Apple estate.

Working as part of a friendly and collaborative IT team, you'll be responsible for providing first-line technical support to Clients across multiple locations. You'll troubleshoot issues, manage user accounts, prepare new devices and ensure users receive an outstanding support experience. This is a varied role offering exposure to modern cloud technologies alongside Apple's ecosystem, making it an excellent opportunity to broaden your technical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line IT support via phone, email and in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.
  • Support Apple Mac desktops and MacBook laptops.
  • Configure and deploy new Apple devices for users.
  • Support iPhones and iPads across the business.
  • Create and manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Escalate more complex technical issues where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and update the IT service desk.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees, including device preparation and account setup.
  • Deliver a professional, friendly and customer-focused support experience.

Skills & Experience We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people and has a genuine interest in Apple technology. You'll ideally have experience with:

  • Previous experience in a Level 1 IT Support or Service Desk role.
  • Supporting Apple Mac devices in a commercial environment.
  • macOS administration and troubleshooting.
  • Apple iPhone and iPad support.
  • Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, VPN).
  • Password and user account administration.
  • IT ticketing or Service Desk systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn.

  • Apple Business Manager
  • Mobile Device Management (Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle or Intune)
  • Google Workspace
  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
  • Okta or JumpCloud
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Bash or PowerShell)
