Our vision

Our vision is to give everyone the belief they can make their move. We aim to make moving simpler, by giving everyone the best place to turn to and return to for access to the tools, expertise, trust, and belief to make it happen.

We’re home to the UK’s largest choice of properties and are the go-to destination for millions of people planning their next move, reading the latest industry news, or just browsing what’s on the market.

Role: Application Analyst

Location: Milton Keynes – (Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office)

Reporting to: Senior Application Analyst

The role

The Product Development team plays a pivotal role in delivering the overall digital experience for customers, consumers, and colleagues underpinning the Rightmove business. We recognise that to deliver the best products and features for our consumers, customers, and colleagues, we need to work effectively as a healthy, high-performing team. We work collaboratively across a mix of product and centralised teams, together working towards Rightmove’s strategy.

The Application Analyst role sits within one of our Internal Product Teams, providing digital solutions to Rightmove’s internal teams. The role is an important part of one of our Scrum product teams, working alongside the Product Manager, Software Engineers, and QA Engineers to understand business challenges, shape requirements, design solutions, and support delivery.

The Application Analyst will deliver solutions through the configuration and improvement of business applications, whether third-party or developed by Rightmove, as well as low-code solutions that meet the needs of Rightmove’s users and the wider business.

The role will also involve working closely with end users and stakeholders to understand how processes work today, where the pain points are, and what needs to change to deliver the right outcome.

The Application Analyst role reports to the Senior Application Analyst and works closely with other Application Analysts, Platform Engineers, Product Manager, Architects, and Operations team members.

A typical week as an Application Analyst might involve:

  • Working with end users and stakeholders to understand current processes, pain points, requirements, and expected outcomes.
  • Mapping processes and identifying opportunities to simplify ways of working, improve data quality, or make better use of technology.
  • Building practical solutions using low-code platforms, including applications, workflows, and automations.
  • Customising and improving third-party systems to better support business processes and user needs.
  • Using SQL to query, analyse, and support changes to data across Rightmove’s business applications.
  • Using platforms such as UiPath to automate manual or repetitive processes across the organisation.
  • Collaborating with Product Manager, Software Engineers, and QA Engineers to agree the best approach to solving business problems.
  • Sharing progress regularly with the product team and end users, using feedback to shape and improve solutions as they develop.
  • Supporting testing activity across the team, including validating changes, helping meet sprint commitments, and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
