Scope of Role
Application Business Consultants within the CSO are responsible for planning and delivering consultancy to our existing customer base, ensuring new or changed processes and modules are implemented to meet the customer’s needs.
All activities needed with the customer can either be off or on-site; if needed, the Application Business Consultant must be able to visit any customers when required.
Responsibilities
- To carry out fact finding and process reviews to fully understand the customers processes and requirements to be able to recommend next steps.
- To take responsibility for job planning, delivery and completion.
- To implement new integrations, modules and functions on the customer site.
- To train the customer's team and provide knowledge transfer in the operation of modified software, as and when required.
- To provide accounts application training & consultancy for the customer.
- To liaise with the customers to help confirm requirements producing specifications for modifications to the software.
- To assist the development team with understanding specifications during the development of modifications and subsequently test and document developed changes.
- To always assist the support function on current or previously implemented systems, as and when required, by taking support calls from clients when appropriate.
- To cover for colleagues, as and when required, in all areas where knowledge overlaps, and to undertake other such duties as may reasonably be requested.
- To escalate any complexities to the professional services team leader.
- Can present at a senior level and ensure the presentations are pitched commercially and are focused on the customer's needs.
- Negotiates with the customer ensuring any conflict is managed professionally.
- Lives the core values and takes responsibility for ensuring an experience of excellence for the customer.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Timesheet completion in line with company procedures.
- To ensure agreed work is invoiced and all hours are billed to the customer.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- 4-5 years’ experience of implementing and configuring ERP solutions.
- Experience with GenetiQ iQ would be a distinct advantage.
- Strong personal and customer communication skills.
- Ability to juggle and manage projects.
