Application Business Consultant

Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Application Business Consultant to join an established software company within its growing professional services team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong ERP implementation experience who enjoys working directly with customers, understanding business processes, and delivering software solutions that meet their requirements.

The Role

As an Application Business Consultant, you'll work closely with customers to understand their business processes and requirements before recommending and implementing the right ERP solutions.

  • Involved across the full customer journey, from process reviews and requirements gathering through to configuring and implementing new modules, integrations, and functionality.
  • Provide customer training and knowledge transfer.
  • Work closely with development teams on software modifications.

The role will involve both remote and on-site customer consultancy, so some travel to customer sites will be required.

What You Need

  • 4-5 years experience implementing and configuring ERP solutions.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes.
  • Experience gathering customer requirements and carrying out process reviews.
  • Strong customer-facing and consultancy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident presenting and communicating with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering customer training and knowledge transfer.
  • A commercial and customer-focused approach.
